聯合國環境週 – 重訪坪洲植林區進行護理事宜
Revisiting the trees planting site on Peng Chau Island during United Nations Environmental Week

感謝各政府部門，鄉事委員會，區議會，各大專院校，各學校及社區團體，各公營機構義工隊，各公司企業，演藝界代表，義工及約250名香港區青年大使，及各工作人員從農曆新年以來三個月的默默耕耘，終使我們順利及成功地在坪洲島上舉辦我們在2012年度香港區的聯合國國際百萬森林計劃植樹日，當天共有1,134位參加者/市民/義工/嘉賓共同參與，共為坪洲東部山火後之臺地種植了約1,021棵原生樹木。接著來的日子，我們將為該植林復育區推行首次植樹活動後首三個月的護理工作，其中一項為聯合國環境週重訪植林區活動，為曾參與植樹活動之參加者提供重訪植林復育區進行護理工作的機會。

Dear All,
Thanks for the HKSAR Government, The Rural Committee, District Council, all Universities and Societies, Public Entreprises and Companies, representatives of artist, volunteers, officers and green youth ambassadors, their efforts from Jan. to Apr. 2012, to let the “International Million Trees (Forest) Project – Trees Planting Event for Hong Kong Region 2012” was successfully held and organized on the Peng Chau Island on 22th April 2012, we had 1,134 participants/citizens/volunteers/guests participated, and we had planted around 1,021 local species trees sapling on that day. We will have a trees planting site revisiting activity on 3 June 2012 ( Sunday ), all volunteers are welcome to participate.

植林復育工作之工作範圍包括: 補充樹苗，除草，清除垃圾，施基肥，疏伐，澆水，修枝，教育講解等。
Reforestation conservation works are including trees planting, grass removal, rubbish removal, fertilizing, watering, branches cutting, soil works, and educational introduction etc.

日期/Date: 2012年06月03日(星期日) / Sunday, 3rd June 2012 (七月份之重訪植林區進行護理事宜/Revisiting the trees planting site on Peng Chau Island on July)
時間/Time: 上午11時至下午05時 / 11:00 – 17:00
參與團體/機關: 學校及社區團體義工隊，公司義工 / Target: Volunteers from Schools, societies, entreprises
地點: 坪洲島東部山火後之植林復育區 / Venue: Reforestation area on Peng Chau Island
人數: 50人 / Max. Participant no. 50 persons
(參加者將於11:00-11:30分於中環六號碼頭集合，然後乘坐中午十二時正之快船赴坪洲島；然後約17:20分在坪洲碼頭集合，乘坐下午17:50之快船回中環 / Gathering time: 11:00-11:30 at Central Pier No. 6 )

行程大綱 / General Run-down:
12:30 抵達坪洲島 Arriving the Peng Chau Island
12:30-13:30 午膳時間 Lunch time
13:30-14:15 於島上之辦事處進行講解及拿取工具及樹苗 Introduction and preparation of equipment
14:15-15:00 步行往植林復育區 Walking towards the trees planting site
15:00-16:30 於植林復育區進行簡單講解及護理工作 Conservation works
16:45-17:15 回程回坪洲碼頭 Backing the Peng Chau Pier
17:20-17:45 準備登船離開 Leaving the island

每間學校/團體名額 / Quota for each school or society: 10-15人/persons
每間公司/企業/政府部門/公營機構名額 /
Quota for each company, enterprise, government departments: 4-5人/persons

參與者將豁免來回中環至坪洲船票
The round-trip ticket between Central and Peng Chau Island will be provided by our Committee

有意參加者請於5月30日前把參與者名單及聯絡電話電郵至 info@hkgnu.org ，標題請註明 “植樹活動”，活動免費參與，但歡迎自由捐獻。
Interested parties would you please send us an email to info@hkgnu.org and leave us your participants list and contact no. on or before 30 May 2012, the email subject states “Trees Planting”. Activity is free for charge, further donations are welcome.
